Excellence in Leadership Award

Each spring, the Department of Campus Involvement hosts the annual Excellence in Leadership Banquet and presents Excellence In Leadership Awards to outstanding student leaders from around campus. This non-monetary award identifies and honors students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership while at St. Cloud State based on an evaluation of their academic commitment and leadership experiences. DO NOT APPLY if you have fewer than 90 earned undergraduate or 18 earned graduate credits.

Undergraduate applicants must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher and have earned 90 semester credits by end of fall 2017 (minimum of 36 credits earned at SCSU).

Graduate applicants must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher at the graduate level and have earned 18 semester graduate credits by the end of fall 2017 semester (minimum of 18 graduate credits earned at SCSU).

Any current SCSU students who meet these requirements, as well as Fall 2017 graduates, are eligible for this award.

In order to be considered, students should expect to fully answer all of the opportunity-specific questions. Answers that appear on the general University scholarship application will not be evaluated or considered in the process.
