1. Meteorology major 2. Minimum GPA of 2.75 overall and 3.25 in major courses (must complete the Academic Record portion of the general scholarship application) 3. Practice in preparing own forecast outside the classroom, which may include the National Weather Challenge or other activities (answer the College of Science & Engineering questions on the general scholarship application) 4. Include details about your career/educational goals involving synoptic meteorology in a general scholarship application essay, as well as other individual accomplishments 5. Enrolled full-time when the scholarship is received
