Shri Sadashiv and Gopika Parnerkar Memorial Scholarship for Single Parents

1. Single parent with primary custody of a dependent, minor child (or children) pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree 2. Graduated from a MN high school outside the four county metro area (Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin or Ramsey) or from a high school in North or South Dakota 3. Financial need 4. Minimum overall GPA of 2.75 (if a first-year student, high school GPA) 5. Submit an essay sharing your educational aspirations and the challenges you face as a single parent pursuing those aspirations 6. US citizen 7. Enrolled at least half-time when the scholarship is received

Special consideration will be given to a student who has a major within the School of the Arts (Art, Music, Theater & Film).
