Scholarship for High Demand Areas in the Field of Education

This scholarship is awarded to members of underrepresented groups in the College of Education and Learning Design. Current criteria include: 1. Major in Elementary Education, Special Education or Early Childhood Education 2. Is male or a student of color 3. Junior or senior when the scholarship is received 4. Overall GPA of 2.75 or higher 5. Enrolled for 15 or more credits each semester the scholarship is received; Special consideration will be given to students with demonstrated financial need. If received as a junior the scholarship may be renewed one year if the student continues to meet the criteria AND submits a new general scholarship application before this scholarship’s application deadline next year.
