Galaway Foundation Scholarship

1. New incoming freshman who will be enrolled full time when the scholarship is received 2. Academic and leadership potential 3. Essay required, and may be featured in SCSU Foundation publications 4. Enrolled full time when the scholarship is received; Preference given to those who have overcome socioeconomic or educational disadvantages or disabilities, or is the first generation to attend college, or was in foster care when graduated from high school, or was raised in 1 parent family, or graduated from a small high school in a rural community, or is a refugee, or is a recent immigrant. Award will be the approximate cost of tuition for full time enrollment if funding is available.
May be renewed for 3 additional years if student continues full time enrollment while making satisfactory progress toward a degree AND submits a new general scholarship application in Huskies Scholarships annually.
