Minnesota Workforce Development Scholarship
New-entering transfer students who were previously awarded a Workforce Development Scholarship from a Minnesota State community college, graduated from the college with a two-year associate’s degree and are entering a qualifying St. Cloud State program are now eligible to carry their scholarship over to SCSU for an additional 2 years. Answer the Minnesota Workforce Development Scholarship question under Miscellaneous on the scholarship application to be considered. The scholarship, funded by the Minnesota Legislature, provides free aid of $2,500 for the academic year ($1,250 per semester) for students enrolled in particular fields.

Additional eligibility requirements:
Enrolled for 9 or more credits per term
Overall GPA 2.0 or higher
Minnesota resident
Additional consideration given to students with financial need.
*Students in an Accelerated Online Program (AOP) are not eligible for this scholarship.
